Ron Zalben – Partner, Head of US Tax Department, US & Israeli CPA

A partner at the firm since 2014, Ron is also a member of AICPA (American Institute of Certified Public Accountants), WICPA (Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants), and STEP (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners).

Ron has over 20 years of experience as a US CPA, including 7 years of experience working for local companies in the US specializing in complex tax planning. He is proficient in US tax laws, including federal and local tax systems, and has over 15 years of experience in international and Israeli taxation, especially the tax treaty between Israel and the US – including reading and analyzing other tax treaties signed with Israel and the US.

Ron possesses extensive knowledge and experience in complex tax planning for individuals: foreign residents, returning residents, and new immigrants, providing comprehensive tax solutions, especially regarding foreign income and foreign trusts. He oversees assessment discussions and voluntary disclosure submissions. In addition, Ron accompanies, plans, and advises on taxation for companies and corporations in outbound/inbound processes – Israeli companies wishing to open a branch in the US (outbound) or foreign companies wishing to open a branch in Israel (inbound).
